Atlanta Receives

Clarke Schmidt SP (Prospect)
Ha-Seong Kim 2B, SS - $0.5M/$1M/$1.5M/RFA

NY Mets Receives

Pablo Lopez SP - $6M/$6M/$6M/$6M/$6M/UFA

Mets have been looking for a more established starter and with the amount of SS in our system we were more comfortable moving Kim even though we know his best is yet to come. Great dealing with Atlanta!

Rationale: Although parting with Lopez is a tough one. Losing Seager was a huge blow to my lineup. Also needed depth in my INF so adding Kim and Schmidt both with lots of upside is fair value. I think Kim will continue to improve now settled in his role with the Padres. Happy dealing with Mets lads!
